Welsh Government Visit Welsh Tract

Senior Manager with the Welsh Government in Cardiff, Leighton James and his wife Janet, formerly with the Welsh television station S4C, visited the ‘Welsh Tract’ on Saturday May 3, 2025. Welsh Society of Philadelphia Board Member Catrin Brace accompanied them to various sites of Welsh interest including the Merion Friends Meeting House; The Grange Estate in Haverford (formerly Maen Coch); The Church of St Asaph founded by the family of John Roberts of Pencoyd in Bala Cynwyd; the Pencoyd Iron Works; Harriton House (formerly Bryn Mawr) and the Jones Log Barn in Tredyffrin.
